Your Healthcare Providers Are Open & Ready to Serve You

As work continues on the South Hillsborough Pipeline along South Parsons Avenue, we want to reassure patients, caregivers, and community members that all healthcare providers and medical offices in the area remain open and fully accessible. While temporary traffic pattern changes may affect your usual route, your healthcare should not be interrupted.

We know that medical appointments, therapies, and healthcare visits cannot wait. Our team is committed to ensuring clear access to every provider in the corridor throughout the duration of construction.

Healthcare Providers Along the Lumsden Corridor

The following providers are open and welcoming patients:

Gentle Dental/Parson Family Dental is welcoming patients for routine dental care, cleanings, and procedures. Don’t let construction delay your dental health.

Cano Health provides patient-centered healthcare services to residents throughout Brandon.

Florida Autism Center continues to provide essential Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and support services for individuals with autism and their families.

AdventHealth Medical Group at Parsons Park offers a wide range of specialty care services and is accessible via South Parsons Avenue.

Johns Hopkins All Children’s Outpatient Care remains fully operational, providing pediatric outpatient care and specialty services to children and families.

Digestive Diseases Associates of Tampa Bay is open and seeing patients for gastroenterology consultations, procedures, and follow-up care.

Labcorp continues to provide laboratory testing and diagnostic services at its Lumsden location. Walk-ins and appointments are welcome.

Getting Here During Construction

Temporary traffic changes are in effect along portions of South Parsons Avenue. We encourage you to plan extra travel time and check the project website for updates before your visit. All parking areas and patient entrances remain accessible throughout construction.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to complete the South Hillsborough Pipeline. We are committed to minimizing disruption and ensuring you can always access the care you need.

Construction on Boyette Rd/Fishhawk Blvd Begins this Summer

Construction on the South Hillsborough Pipeline is moving forward and will begin on Boyette Road in early June. Work will start at McMullen Road and proceed eastward to Deepbrook Drive.

During this time, crews will be installing a portion of the pipeline by open-trench construction in the westbound lanes of Boyette Road. The westbound lanes of Boyette Road will be closed from McMullen Road to Bell Shoals Road, and one lane of traffic in each direction will be open in the eastbound lanes. Traffic along Boyette Road will remain open at all times, but residents should expect delays.

More details on the upcoming work will be shared via email and posted on the project website:SouthHillsboroughPipeline.com.To learn more about open-trench construction, click here.

Tampa Bay Water’s contractor has scheduled this open-trench construction work for the summer to minimize school-related traffic impacts. However, pipeline installation in this area stretches about 5 miles from McMullen Road to east of Fishhawk Ridge Road, so construction will continue for approximately 12-16 months after it begins.

You can expect to see these activities in the coming months (not necessarily in this order):

  • Tunnel underneath Little Fishhawk Creek
  • A tunnel under Bell Creek and Bell Shoals Road from the Myron and Helen Gibbons Nature Preserve to just east of Bell Shoals Road
  • Open-trench construction along Fishhawk Boulevard
  • A tunnel under Fishhawk Boulevard
