Ronele Drive Surveying Begins May 28
As early as Thursday, May 28, 2026, surveyors will be working along Ronele Drive, placing stakes to mark temporary construction easements. These are areas that have been pre-determined as necessary for access or construction of the South Hillsborough Pipeline.
Temporary construction easements can be located on both private and public property. For those locations on private property, agreements have already been made with the property owners.
Once surveying is complete, expected sometime in mid-June, crews will trim and/or remove trees and shrubbery from the temporary and permanent construction easements. A certified arborist will oversee tree trimming and removal. Every effort will be made to preserve trees where possible.
Actual construction of the pipeline is expected to begin in late June or early July, weather permitting, and is anticipated to last approximately five months.
Survey crews and tree crews will work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
