Victoria Street Traffic Updates
Pipeline installation on Victoria Street is currently near the Brandon Seventh-Day Adventist Church (just west of Brandon High School). Victoria Street is closed to through traffic, and the road is impassable from in front of the church to the western parking lot of Brandon High School.
Motorists accessing Brandon Seventh-Day Adventist Church should use Limona Road, Shady Lane and Amana Avenue. Churchgoers can enter using the westernmost entrance.
Those traveling to Brandon High School should access the school’s western parking lot from the east via North Kings Avenue or North Parsons Avenue to Victoria Street. The entrance to this lot closest to the school will be open.
Meade Street Closed July 2
As construction progresses eastward, crews expect to close Meade Street at Victoria Street as early as 7 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, for open-trench construction.
During this time, motorists traveling to Brandon High School will be able to access the school’s western parking lot from Limona Road. The school’s eastern parking lot will be accessible via North Kings Avenue or North Parsons Avenue to Victoria Street.
Construction on Victoria Street will proceed eastward through early December, barring unforeseen conditions. North Kings Avenue, North Knights Avenue, and North Moon Avenue will be accessible for local traffic only until active construction approaches. These roads will be closed at Victoria Street when pipeline construction crosses these intersections.
Motorists should expect delays. Please use caution when driving, biking or walking in the area. Crews will work Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
