From 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 21, through Thursday, Oct. 2, night detours will be in effect at the intersection of South Parsons Avenue/John Moore Road and Lumsden Road.
From Sunday, Sept. 21-Thursday, Sept. 25, the southbound lanes of South Parsons Avenue will be closed from Vonderburg Drive to Lumsden Road. Motorists traveling south on South Parsons Avenue will be detoured via Vonderburg Drive to Oakfield Drive to South Kings Avenue to Lumsden Road. Northbound traffic along South Parsons Avenue north of Lumsden will remain open.
From Thursday, Sept. 25 – Thursday, Oct. 2, the northbound lanes of John Moore Road will be closed to thru-traffic between Bloomingdale Avenue and Lumsden Road. Motorists will be detoured at Bloomingdale Avenue to South Kings Avenue and South Bryan Road. Southbound traffic along John Moore Road will remain open. Residential access will be maintained.
Please follow all posted detours and use caution when driving, biking or walking in the area. Tampa Bay Water’s contractor crews are performing this work to confirm the locations of underground utilities before beginning construction of the South Hillsborough Pipeline. This work is being done at night to minimize traffic impacts.
