Community Coordinators Support Neighborhoods

A community coordinator is shown wearing a blue vest standing next to an all-terrain vehicle that is used to transport residents as needed.

With open-trench construction starting on the South Hillsborough Pipeline, the contractor has deployed community coordinators at locations where resident and business access may be temporarily affected. Community coordinators are ready to help, are easily identified by their blue vests and currently can be found on:

  • South Kings Avenue, north of Bloomingdale Avenue
  • McMullen Road, between Boyette Road and McMullen Loop, and
  • Limona Road, south of the railroad tracks, starting next week.

Community coordinators can assist residents with:

  • Accessing homes if driveways are blocked
  • Coordinating access for service providers, like lawn crews
  • Assisting with mail and package delivery
  • Ensuring garbage and recycling services continue

Before active construction in your area, you will receive a door hanger with instructions on how to text your community coordinator. For general information on the project, visit SouthHillsboroughPipeline.com or call (813) 485-6480.
