Beginning Monday, Oct. 5, 2026, heavy equipment will be delivered to the east Falkenburg Road microtunnel site for upcoming South Hillsborough Pipeline microtunnel construction.
The pipeline will be installed by microtunnel beneath Falkenburg Road from the northeast corner of the Woodberry Road intersection, just behind the Circle K gas station, west to Hillsborough County’s property. This work requires specialized equipment, including large cranes, excavators, control trailers and pipe materials, which will be delivered throughout the week.
What to expect:
- Construction noise and activity from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
- Brief traffic delays on Woodberry Road during equipment and material deliveries; no long-term road closures are anticipated.
Access to surrounding homes and businesses will be maintained. Please use caution when driving, biking or walking through the area.
